For 2013, Beta have launched the 2014 MY 250RR Race Edition, sporting the same two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 249cc single cylinder engine mated to a sturdy six-speed manual transmission as the base 250RR.

The Race Edition sports a number of new features to improve performance but also the two-wheelers visuals, such as a Marzocchi 48mm closed cartridge factory fork, billet aluminium foot pegs and chain adjuster blocks, a front axle pull, dual map CDI ignition for dry and wet riding, and a black shifter and rear brake pedal.
