BENELLI TNT R160 (2013-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Benelli TNT was a motorcycle based on the Tornado Tre 900. It was manufactured from 2004 to 2016. Its TNT designation was an acronym for "Tornado Naked Tre." Tornado came from its engine and frame derived from its faired sibling, Naked because of its lack of fairings, and Tre from the three-cylinder engine.

In 2013, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli TNT R160, a powerful naked motorcycle created by Benelli in 2010. It was the most powerful machine in the TNT range and packed several carbon fiber goodies.

The bike's aesthetic appearance was characterized by standard features, such as a fork-mounted headlight with a small wind deflector on top, a tow-piece dual seat, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler placed under the seat, and five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

The riding experience was offered by a fully adjustable 50 mm inverted telescopic fork with 120 mm travel on the front end and a fully adjustable shock absorber with 120 mm travel on the rear, offering excellent handling capabilities.

Braking-wise, the wheels were fitted with two 320 mm discs on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear. The front ones were clamped by four-piston calipers, and the rear was squeezed by a dual-piston caliper.

In terms of power, the 2013 Benelli TNT R160 was set in motion by a 1,130cc liquid-cooled four-stroke three-cylinder engine fed by a fuel injection system, delivering 158 hp with maximum strength at 10,200 rpm and 121 Nm (89 lb-ft) torque at 8,400 rpm.
