BENELLI BN 600 GT (2015-2016) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2015, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli BN 600GT, a more touring-oriented motorcycle created for riders who wanted to spend more time behind bars but also wanted a machine capable of delivering an adrenaline rush with every throttle twist.

The Benelli BN 600GT was a sports tourer based on the popular BN 600 model. It was an easy-to-ride versatile motorcycle that delivered excellent comfortability, offering confidence to the riders and making them appreciate all the qualities.

Aesthetically, the bike had standard features, such as a half fairing, vertically-stacked headlights, a small windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with pillion grab rails, an under-belly exhaust system, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.

As for power, the 2015 Benelli BN 600GT took its muscles from a 600cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine mounted underneath its fuel tank, delivering an output power of 82 hp with a peak force at 11,500 rpm and 52 Nm (38 lb-ft) torque at 10,500 rpm.

It was built around a mix of an aluminum and steel frame with a 50 mm inverted telescopic fork on the front, offering 123 mm of travel and an off-set horizontal-mounted shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for the braking power, the bike's wheels were fitted with two 320 mm floating discs coupled to four-piston calipers on the front end and a 240 mm braked disc with a dual-piston caliper mounted on the rear, delivering excellent stopping performance.
