BENELLI BN 302 (2016-2017) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2016, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Benelli BN 302, a middle-weight motorcycle in its second production year. It features the same technical, visual, and performance characteristics as the previous model without any significant modifications.

The Benelli BN 302, also known in other export markets as the TNT 300, was a medium-small displacement motorcycle that debuted in 2015. It was first presented at the 2013 EICMA Show in November alongside the Benelli BN 600 GT.

The bike's aggressive visual department was complemented by standard fittings, like a single headlight unit, a small wind deflector, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, an under-belly exhaust system, and 12-spoke alloy wheels.

The 2016 Benelli BN 302 was powered by a 302cc four-stroke liquid-cooled two-cylinder engine mounted underneath the fuel tank, boasting 38 hp with maximum strength at 10,000 rpm and 27 Nm (20 lb-ft) torque at 9,000 rpm.

The bike was made around a steel frame with a 41 mm inverted telescopic fork on the front and an adjustable off-set horizontal-mounted shock absorber on the rear, offering excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the stopping power, the bike's 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 260 mm brake rotors with four-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm brake disc with a two-piston caliper mounted on the rear, delivering excellent braking performance.
