BENELLI BN 251 (2015-2016) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2015, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli BN 251, a motorcycle that paid tribute to the same bikes customers enjoyed in the past. It was a lightweight, sporty 250cc naked motorcycle offered at a great value, similar to its big brothers. It came as an entry-level motorcycle with great fuel economy, agile performance, and ease of ride capabilities.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as a single headlight unit with a tiny wind deflector, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, an engine spoiler, a single exhaust system with the silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and 12-spoke lightweight alloy wheels.

The bike was made around a steel frame with a 41 mm inverted telescopic fork on the front, offering 120 mm of travel, and a single shock absorber on the rear, providing 50 mm of travel.

The bike's 17-inch alloy wheels were fitted with two 280 mm discs on the front and a 240 mm disc on the rear. The front ones were coupled to four-piston calipers, and the rear with a dual-piston caliper, offering excellent stopping power.

In the performance department, the 2015 Benelli BN 251 had installed a 249cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine underneath its fuel tank, boasting 25 hp at 9,000 rpm and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.
