The Aprilia RST 1000 Futura was a sport-touring motorcycle produced by Aprilia from 2001 to 2004. The bike was powered by a V-twin four-stroke liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system, broadly similar to the one used on the Aprilia SL1000 Falco.

In 2004, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura, a sport-touring motorcycle in its fourth and final year of production. The bike remained unchanged over its production period, delivering the same specifications.

The bike had standard features, such as a full angular-shaped fairing, a large windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, a single-sided swingarm, and five double-spoke aluminum wheels.

It was built around a twin-spar aluminum frame with a 43 mm upside-down adjustable Showa fork on the front with 120 mm wheel travel and an adjustable shock on the rear, which acted as a suspension system.

Braking-wise, the bike packed two 320 mm brake discs mounted on the front wheel and assisted by dual-piston calipers. The rear wheel was fitted with a 255 mm brake disc squeezed by a two-piston caliper.

As for power, the 2004 Aprilia RST 1000 Futura had installed a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine underneath its clothes, delivering an output power of 113 hp at 9,250 rpm and 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) torque at 7,250 rpm.
