Segment: Clasic
Production years: 1930, 1931
The 1930 AJS 7R Track Racer has, at its heart, an air-cooled, 350cc, single cylinder engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission. This machine was built with a longer frame for more high-speed stability, and its front suspension was composed of a girder fork that floats on ball bearings, instead of plain metal bushes. Also its gearbox and clutch has been created especially for this model, and a "Brooklands can" silencer has been fitted to comply with the race track regulations of the time.
