Just as promised before, BMW kept its word and unveiled to the world the new BMW M4 Concept car before the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. After teasing us with a video showcasing the engine sound of the new car, it's time to take a look at it.
Even though BMW is claiming this is just the Concept, we're pretty sure this is how the end-product will look like one it enters production, the only thing that remains to be unveiled being the interior.
For this model, the Bavarian company even developed a new color they like to call "Aurum Dust" that we're guessing will be exclusive to this model. It looks absolutely stunning and goes perfectly with the golden brake calipers of the M Ceramic Brakes.
The shape of the car reminds us a lot of the M Performance model, released earlier this month. However, there are some striking differences. The bottom air intakes are bigger and more aggressive looking whilst the bonnet received a well deserved power dome.
Just like the LCI M5 and the current M6, the M4 also got the BMW M double bar kidney grille along with the M4 emblem on them. Going over the car you'll immediately notice the unusual color of the roof.
That's because it's made out of CFRP and has the traditional M colors painted on it, looking absolutely breathtaking. The rear end also features CFRP, this time in the shape of the air diffuser implemented in the rear bumper, housing 4 tailpipes.
Overall, the car looks great and we can't wait to see how it drives, getting that all-new S55 engine to work. However, we'll have to wait a bit more until we'll get to drive it, the release date being set for 2014.
