As previously reported, the BMW F82 M4 will make its official debut, as a Concept, at this week's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. That's great news for us and BMW just wants to tease the hell out of any BMW enthusiast out there.
After millions of renderings and rumors started around this new car, the German company decided to give us a preview of how the engine will sound like. Whilst I know many are criticizing the fact that the M4 and M3 will have turbocharged units under the bonnet, just listen to that beast for a couple of seconds and tell us you don't like it.
Sure, it's no S65 V8 like in the E9x M3 but we still love the way that 6-cylinder sounds like. Whilst the video and its details don't say nothing about what we're watching, we're pretty sure it's the M4, that was announced for the upcoming event.
Either way, whether it's the M3 or the M4, the engine is probably going to be the same, an S55 3-liter turbocharged unit developing over 400 HP and a lot of torque. Combined with the power savings announced for the new models, we're bound to have a good sports car on our hands next year.
