Volkswagen has announced that it will be introducing a new version of their Golf Plus MPV, called LIFE. It will get a lot of extra kit, as well as special alloy wheels and exterior trim pieces.
It will be priced starting from €21,200, for the basic version, equipped with a 1.4-liter engine, with 80 hp. It gets climate control, heated front seats, self-parking and leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever.
Exterior distinguishing features the Life are unique 16-inch rims and extra bits of chrome trim on the grille. Also, the side windows and rear window are tinted, and the car also gains LED daytime running lights integrated into the lower part of the headlights.
VW says ustomers will save up to €3,400 if they buy this version, over one they have configured themselves, and since this model comes with a decent selection of engines, there`s no reason not to buy it, if you are in the market for such a vehicle.
Aside from the weedy base 1.4, there`s also a turbocharged 1.4-liter unit, with 122 hp, as well as the 1.6 TDI with 105 hp and the 2.0 TDI, with 140 hp. They can either be mated to the standard five- or six-speed manual gearbox, while a seven-speed DSG.
