Volkswagen Passat CC Individual Launched in Germany

Volkswagen has just launched its fourth "Individual" model, the four-door Passat CC, which features all engine configurations available on the standard range. However, just like the other models sold under the "Individual" badge, the new Passat CC comes with numerous exclusive elements in both the interior and the exterior.

First of all, the exteriors now feature a new and exclusive pearl color codenamed "Moonlight Blue", Carscoop informed today. 18-inch "Chicago Black" alloy-wheels are now available as standard, while 19-inch versions come as optional.

Two-tone leather seats with perforated soft leather greets the driver, together with black Nappa leather and Nougat trims on the steering wheel and on the stick shift. Special accents are also found on CC instruments and doors which are treated with
high-gloss black piano paint, as the aforementioned source explains.

The Individual Passat CC also sport ambiance lighting in the door and foot areas plus an additional chrome package that consists of chrome caps on window lift switches, chromed inside door handles and chromed mirror adjusters.

Pricing for the new model starts at 34,800 euros in Germany and there's no word on whether the German manufacturer plans to launch the model in other countries across the continent.

Volkswagen Passat CC was officially introduced in the United States in January 2008 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The model is currently offered in four different trims in this market, as it follows: Sport, Luxury, VR6 Sport and VR6 4Motion, with prices ranging between $27,100 and $39,800. There are three engine configurations available, 2.0T, 3.6-liter FWD and 3.6-liter 4Motion developing between 200 and 280 horsepower.
