Ever wondered why Top Gear does things that no other auto publication does? It's not that they have more courage than everybody else, more like they can get away with murder.
During episode 2 of series 22, which aired last weekend, the lads drove 3 awesome GTs with a combined value of about half a million dollars though the desert in Australia. James chose a Nissan GT-R, Jeremey a BMW M6 Gran Coupé and Richard went for a Bentley Continental V8S. At the end of it all, they said the cars were just dirty, but we had a sneaking suspicion they had acutually been completely ruined.

A guy named Bryn Davies sent The Supercar Kids some snapshots of the yellow Bentley in the shop after Top Gear was done with it. Apparently, the damage is so severe that it's lost 50% of its value and had to be totally resprayed.

In addition, the front end has been taken off, which leads us to believe that the famous red Australian dust has damaged the engine in some way. The air filter systems were probably not designed to deal with such extreme conditions and only a little debris can clog up the fuel system or the block. That's no way to treat the best car Bentley has made in a decade!

And get this, even though the V8S is in such bad condition, the other two cars are even worse. You see, every time you drift a car on loose gravel, the wheels shoot rocks at the paintwork and that can even eat through the wheel wells.

We did a bit of digging and found the yellow Bentley belongs to the Euromarque Brisbane, a company that also sells Maseratis, some Fiats and Alfa Romeos. The B was part of a launch experience event in October 2014 (photos below), though it was probably treated much more kindly than in Top Gear hands.

One of the commenters on the TSK article we mentioned says Bryn Davies, who took these snapshots, was actually fired by the company. Boo and hiss!
