Pre-Facelift Audi Q7 by Avus Performance

Avus Performance recently presented their latest creation, an aftermarket edition of the Audi Q7 that comes with both engineering and aesthetic improvements. Unfortunately, we're talking about a pre-facelift Q7 - the "brand with the four rings" recently debuted the revised version of the full-size SUV that incorporates several upgrades over the previous model.

Nevertheless, the creation belonging to the German tuning house is still fairly appealing and you can see in the adjacent photos why. Specifically, the guys over at Avus Performance modified the 4.2-liter V8 TDI diesel engine to provide 365 horsepower (instead of 326 hp on the standard model) and 880 Nm of torque (up from 760 Nm).

As a result, the aftermarket Q7 is now capable of reaching a maximum speed of 245 km/h (152 mph), with the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration done in 6 seconds.

There are several other enhancements, including an upgrade of the air suspension system which now features an electronic lowering module to reduce the height by about 90 mm. Additionally, the car boasts 23-inch alloy wheels - almost mandatory given the aforementioned performance figures - which are painted in several colors, including silver and titanium, a report by Carscoop informs. LED daytime running lights, revised front grille with black trim and darker tail lamps are also included in the package.

For those of you looking for some entertainment upgrades, Avus Performance got this area covered too with a powerful audio and video system available as an option. The system also consists of LCD monitors mounted in the front headrests, obviously for rear passengers.

Unfortunately, pricing details are yet to be unveiled but we'll keep you up to date.
