Power and Luxury with BRABUS SV12 R

German tuner BRABUS decided to make the most powerful and fastest luxury sedan in the world out of the Mercedes-Benz S 600. The BRABUS SV12 R therefore came to life, featuring a Biturbo 750 twelve-cylinder engine that develops 750HP and a peak torque of 1350 Nm.

Moving on with the performance figures, the BRABUS SV12 R reaches a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph) electronically limited. Moreover, the car is able to sprint from a naught to sixty in just 4.0 seconds, and to 124 mph in 11.9 seconds. All this power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission.

The extraordinary power output comes not only from the engine but also from the larger turbochargers, the more efficient intercooling system and the stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes and metal catalysts with low back pressure.

Aerodynamic elements were also added to the package, including a BRABUS rear spoiler lip and a new rear apron, a centrally located reflector, custom cutouts for the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system and integrated LED lights which illuminate the ground behind the vehicle.

Moreover, integrated auxiliary headlights and LED daytime running lights further improve active safety. The interior was also modified by the German tuners in a combination of soft light-beige and dark-brown leather, and various entertainment and communication technologies.

The visual appearance of the car has also been improved with the help of BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels with diameters ranging from 17 to 21 inches. All versions are fitted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires in size 265/30 ZR 21 in front and in size 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.

Customers can choose from three different designs: three-piece forged and high-gloss polished BRABUS Monoblock VI wheels with six double spokes, Monoblock E multi-spoke wheels and the especially exclusive Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels with cross-spoke design.
