Did you think the Gumball 3000 is the only road rally going on right now? Did you think Deadmau5 and his gang have a monopoly on funny supercar wraps? Think again!
We've just stumbled across the StreetGasm 2000 Challenge, another road rally with pedigree founded back in 2010. This year's edition focuses on touring the Mediterranean and boasts 2,000 miles of driving across 7 countries using 90 supercars. With four days left to go before it ends, we've spotted something really interesting.

A brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S has been livered to look like a taxi. That's right, a 560 horsepower, all-wheel drive supercar livered like a cab. What a mind-melting idea!

Going through the Spanish capital of Barcelona, the 911 Turbo S stands out like a sore thumb amongst a fleet of parked Toyota Prius taxis. Which poses a couple of very interesting questions: would the 911 make a good taxi? And how much will you be willing to pay for a ride?

For daily use and traveling at silly speeds, it's hard to think of another car like the 911 Turbo S. Like all Turbos since the 993, the car runs in all-wheel drive at all times, which is a big deal when you're dealing with 700 Nm of twin-turbo torque tearing at the tires. For short periods of time, boost pressure can be increase, which results in maximum torque of 750 Nm.

However, if all taxis were Porsches, the Turbo S would be the one that's hardest to park, because of the wider front and rear tracks. The upside, of course, is that stability at high speeds is better.
