Just because she is renowned for her luxurious lifestyle, that doesn’t mean that Paris Hilton does not support a greener environment. Though we’ve seen her mostly with gas guzzlers, this time paparazzi snapped her driving a black Cadillac Escalade hybrid, that kinda fits better with her latest hippie look, celebritycarsblog.com reported.

However, the car that Paris impressed with the most, remains the customized pink Bentley Continental GT, which matched perfectly with her Barbie look. Paris bought the Bentley last year as a Christmas gift to herself and she immediately took it to the West Coast Customs remodeling firm in Los Angeles, which is famous for customizing cars in the MTV makeover show Pimp My Ride.

We don’t know exactly what happened to Paris that made her reconsider her four-wheeled choice, but one thing is for sure: rich people get bored fast. She may have been excited with the pink limousine back then, but greener vehicles are on the trend wave right now. And we know that Paris was always a fashion addict....

As for the Escalade Hybrid, the $75,000+ luxury SUV features a two-mode hybrid system that consists of an advanced electrically variable transmission (ETV) and a 300-volt nickel-metal hydride Energy Storage System (EES) working in connection with the standard 6.0-liter V8 gasoline engine.

The car also incorporates a Start-Stop mode called Auto Stop that automatically idles the engine when not in motion. After pressing the throttle pedal, the hybrid uses electric power, thus reducing emissions and fuel consumption, especially when stuck in traffic.
