When Ford introduced its family face to the new full-size US Transit van, those who were following the subject wondered why the carmaker doesn’t do anything for the Transit Connect.
Well, it seems that the carmaker has big plans for the next generation of the Transit Connect, as the adjacent patent fillings reveal. It seems like the commercial vehicle will borrow a lot of facial features from the Fiesta, while also using a pretty aggressive body kit.
This seems like a great move and we can only wander why commercial vehicles haven’t been brought closer to cars until now. The Blue Oval hasn’t released any official info on this, but a concept that will prefigure the vehicle is expected to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
