Toyota recently announced a new Yaris to come around and if you thought it looks cool, just take a look of how its Japanese counterpart Vitz looks. A lot cooler if you ask us.
The Japanese Toyota Vitz come in four different styles, coming with enough amenities to really want one.

Starting with the one that looks pretty much the same with what other markets get as standard, it’s actually the hardcore version. It’s called the Vitz RS Racing, it’s stripped down, has a roll cage, sport suspension and motor mounts as well as a helical LSD and a 5-speed manual transmission. The RS is aimed for further modifications and track use in Japan’s many compact racing leagues.

The next one is the Vitz Modelsita Street Style, which comes with a sportier front and rear lips, sport muffler and 20mm lower springs. This one is also not using the Aygo-borrowed X-style front end.

Another non-X-fascia model is the Vitz Modelista Cross Style, which as the name suggests, comes with some rough addons to remind you of off-road capabilities which it lacks. However, it comes with matte black alloy rims and arch guards along with a two-tone matte silver and black front spoiler and matte silver rear molding.

But the one that appealed most to us is the yellow Vitz Modelista. This one looks the sportiest of all four. It’s still X-faced, but the lower grille is ‘expanding’ into the side foglamps surroundings, has a sportier lower bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights, sharp side lower chrome inserts, a twin exhaust locate right in the middle of a larger rear bumper, hatch-mounted spoiler and a set of 17-inch 10-spoke alloy rims.
