A few days ago we reported about the first ever filmed review of the bonkers Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe, with the video having been made by the Brits from Auto Express during the model's press launch in Italy.

While we were far from getting our expectations exceeded or even met by the British review, the Germans from Autobild have recently decided to dub their usual YouTube reviews in English, and on top of that they also created a more thorough review of the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe. What joy!

Getting past the forced humor bits with that da Vinci wannabe, Autobild's video take of the S 63 AMG Coupe is much more informative for those expecting more details about the current top of the range Mercedes-Benz model.

Plus, compared with the Auto Express review of the car, Autobild also left the V8 exhaust's note in, instead of just showing how comfortable and quiet its interior can be. The Germans also managed to include a short interview with Dr. Hermann Storp, who was in charge of the S-Class Coupe's development.

The main idea of the review obviously revolves around the sheer beauty of the car, but the downright avalanche of technology features or the S 63 AMG Coupe's power and performance aren't left out either.

With the help of twin-turbochargers, its 5.5-liter V8 achieves no less than 585 hp and 900 Nm (664 lb ft) of torque, more than enough to give the coupe's 4Matic all-wheel drive variant a naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds.

As with just about any other car, the S 63 AMG Coupe does have its downsides, with the starting price being one of them, but you probably agree with the fact that at this level it is more about “want” then it is about “need”, while the S-Class Coupe in general is more than likely to meet and greet just about any automotive desire.
