We know that late Sir Alec Issigonis thought out every little detail of the original MINI after he decided that it deserved to become more than just a scheme on a napkin, but we think that not even he went as deep as spending quite a serious amount of time on matters that concerned the car’s horn.
MINI recently followed the “better late then never” principle and set out to correct this flaw that has been with the car since its first generation. So, what could the do - after all, it’s just a horn, right? Wrong. MINI turned to the London Philharmonic Orchestra to have the British national anthem sang using nine of its London 2012 special edition models.
