More Bad News For Fisker: Geely Pulls Out of Bidding
Struggling since December 2011 and not being able to build new cars for almost a year, Fisker was being watch by two Chinese investors, Geely and Dongfeng. But that's no longer available, as Geely Holding Group was chased off by the Department of Energy's loan conditions.
As a side note, reports says that Geely was in fact interested in Fisker's former GM plant in Delaware as a possible Volvo manufacturing facility in the United States.
With Geely out of the way, Dongfeng remains the main player in the Fisker bidding process, though the EV automaker claims it's "still talking to multiple partners", as Autoblog reports.
