Lamborghini continues to tease us, with the company’s marketing soldiers bringing our Paris Auto Show anticipation level sky-high. The automaker has now released the third teaser image for the mysterious vehicle that is set to debut at the event. The teaser seems to reveal the interior of a vehicle, with elements like the upper dashboard, steering wheel, instruments and driver’s door.
However, it seems like Lambo is planing to bring not one, but two supercars at the Paris Auto Show, as 0-60mag reports.
The website has published what it claims to be a schedule of a Lamborghini dealer meeting, due to take place in Sant’Agata Bolognese, on September 23. This mentions that Lambo will showcase a model known as the LB715-5, together with another one using the “83X” internal name.
According to the aforementioned source, the LB715-5 is the replacement for the Murcielago model (this might use the Jota name). The vehicle will come with a carbon-fiber tub and is expected to use a V12 powerplant delivering between 715 and 825 hp. All these goodies will come with a price, as the vehicle is expected to play in the half a million dollar league.
The 83X is an even more mysterious creature, as no details about it are known. The Internet is buzzing with rumors indicating that this could be a replacement for the Gallardo, the production version of the Estoque saloon or even a competitor for the Ferrari 599 GTB/GTO.
If no info surfaces at the dealer meeting, or if this doesn’t take place, we hope that at least the Paris Auto Show will bring the dark Lambo creatures to light.
autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
