Lamborghini Jota Teaser Released

With a little under a month left before the Paris Auto Show opens its doors in the capital of France, what is perhaps one of the most exciting premieres of the event showed a bit of skin yesterday. We are talking about Lamborghini's newest and finest, the model which will send into the history books the long lived Murcielago sometime next year: the Jota.

There are, of course, no details available about the model to be presented in Paris, but the supercar manufacturer promised it will release more images in the days to follow. Until more is revealed, we are left with what goes around in the industry in the form of a rumor.

The Jota will be using a 6.0l V12 engine, rumored to develop anywhere in between 700 and 800 hp (our bet is more likely in the 700 hp range). True to the Lambo legacy, the car will be fast enough to reach the coveted sixty in around three seconds.

The Jota will use mixed aluminum and carbon fiber body, a feature it will also borrow to its bigger version, the Urus. The vehicle will weigh 3,300lbs (1,396 kg), will top at some 220 mph (354 km/h), while achieving a fuel consumption rate of around 10l/100 km.

As said, more is to follow on the Jota, so stay tuned for updates. If you happen to miss the following teasers, we bring you live photos of the new Lamborghini directly from Paris, where autoevolution will dispatch a squad to catch 2010's finest vehicles on the show's floor.
