KTM unwrapped their small-displacement RC390 racing machine which will ride in the 2014 ADAC Junior Cup.
Most likely derived from thr 390 Duke, the RC390 Cup Race bike is a bit milder as far as power is concerned, with 37.48 HP, lower than the stock new Duke can deliver. The Cup Race bike is lighter than the base model and this adds to its nimble character (130 kg or 286 lbs for the racer).

A tubular trellis frame keeps the thumper together, rolling with cast aluminium wheels and WP suspensions. The bike breathes out a titanium Akrapovic exhaust with regulated catalytic converter. With 1:1 to the specs of a new KTM street bike, this racer should not be mistaken for the Moto3 GP machine KTM is also manufacturing.

The Race Cup is derived from a street bike and a production racer will soon be offered. KTM's affordable, quality lower displacement sport bikes will be available from early 2014.
