It looks like Kawasaki are pushing really hard to consolidate their presence in the growing Indian market, as local sources recently learned that the Japanese manufacturer will bring two more models in 2014: the Versys 1000 and the ER-6n.
The ER-6n is the naked version of the Ninja 650 which is already selling in India, and given its under 800cc displacement, we can expect the price to be a competitive one. On the other hand, the Versys 1000 faces the local 75% import duty for CBU bikes bigger than 800cc, and things will not be as merry.

However, it looks like the huge Indian market is indeed gaining momentum, as more manufacturers are bringing high-end machines in, looking to expand operations, Indian, Triumph and Ducati only being the latest brands to do so.

No prices have been named, but Autocar India reports that the Versys 1000 is expected anywhere between January and June 2014, while the ER-6n will reach the dealers in July 2014.
