The release of Forza Horizon is less than two weeks away, and to maintain interest strong, the developer has shown yet another behind the scenes video, this time detailing the construction and functionality of the game world. The developers say that they had a shortlist of just under 30 locations they were considering for the game, but Colorado was chosen as it features stunning scenery and a wide variety of roads.
They talk about the many thousands of pictures and videos taken for reference, and how they were used to give the game world a feel which is as close to reality as possible. The level of detail of the game world is also a strong point, and it features realistic buildings and obstacles, as well as wildlife - watching out for deer will probably be an important gameplay element.

The game launches on October 23, and we are curious to see what reaction it will get, with its blend of Forza, Test Drive Unlimited and Need for Speed, all rolled into one promising package.
