I Want to Drive!... Even if my financial situation is a bit far from tying up with that of my colleague Bach, you probably already know I'm not actually poor either. And that's just to be modest. Yet, I don't like helicopters and I only use planes if I really have to. I'm a fan (age ... Continue reading >

The Fiat 500 has been voted the best “compact car”, beating the Toyota IQ in its home country, Japan, and the French Peugeot 308.

Are you surprised? We aren't. The Toyota IQ and the Peugeot 308 are just cars, while the 500 is a fashion icon, a coffee rumbler and a statement of coolness. It is Italian in every way and it gives you an aristocratic air driving the small mouse through every corner of your city.

Unlike a supercar which draws upon itself million of looks per mile and envy, the 500 makes the world around you smile, and that makes you smile as well.

Good cars make you feel great while driving them and toying around. Take the BMW 3 Series for instance, a car that offers a great drive and no soul. There is no secret that Fiat are selling these cars in big numbers, because it's a bargain and it is not so often you get a car and a legend maxpack.

According to the press release, it was chosen as the “Best Compact Car” by Internet users who, in an online competition for the “Consumer choice car of the year”, preferred it to the Toyota IQ and Peugeot 308. Over 80,000 users took part in the competition organized by Neko Publishing, which publishes the main Japanese motor magazines, both specialized and in other sectors.

Fiat announced that on November 28 they will open the Fiat Café in Aoyama (Tokyo), where Fiat say, normal people “will be able to appreciate the concept of a Café as a perfect meeting place, pleasant and cosmopolitan”. The best thing is that on the new café's floor there will be a Fiat 500 on display.
