Ferrari Enzo Nearly Catches Fire from Burning 1929 Bentley [Photo Gallery]
It seems that someone tried to start the 1929 Bentley 6½-Litre and depressed the throttle pedal, which caused the vehicle to burst into flames. The unfortunate happening took place during the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The British classic was parked very close to a fleet of rare Ferraris, including the aforementioned Enzo, an F50, an F40, as well as a 288 GTO.
Multiple people rushed to put out the Bentley fire, but the Enzo, the Ferrari that was the closest to the flames, wasn’t taken out of there in time, so it risked being affected by the fire.
All the aforementioned Ferraris were covered in the substances coming out of the fire extinguishers used to put out the Bentley fire. Fortunately, none of the Prancing Horses were affected.
Our say: we think the Bentley just wanted to make Ferrari's fiery reputation even worse...
