Emile Heskey's Old Mitsubishi GTO for Sale

A car that once belonged to Aston Villa’s striker Emile Heskey was recently put up for sale on Auto Trader, a British car selling website. Heskey is reportedly the first of the three owner the vehicle had since he bought it in 1998, when he was playing for the Leicester City team.

The car in question (as if it wasn’t obvious from this article’s headline) is a Mitsubishi GTO, featuring a 3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine developing 276 horsepower, with a four-wheel drive.

We don’t know exactly the sum that Heskey paid to buy the car at that time, but its other two owners invested some thousands of pounds in it to make it produce 400 horsepower at the moment.

Some invoices that Auto Trader reported are showing that £1,500 ($2,457) was spent on a drag race-spec OS Giken clutch and £1,100 ($1,802) on a service and HKS induction kit.

The GTO was also improved from the aesthetic point of view, now having a TV which plays Freeview, while it can also be used as a screen for the rear park camera.

The car seems to be in a very good shape for a 20-year-old car, so it will probably have no problems selling for the £8,995 ($14,732) the seller is asking.

But Heskey is not the only ex-Liverpool and England player that has a car that he formerly owned for sale on Auto Trader, as you can also find Michael Owen’s Ferrari 599 GTB, Robbie Fowler’s Audi R8 and Peter Crouch’s Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
