Seriously, I was expecting to see Ducati showing off a bike with jaw-dropping looks, but the first picture of the 1199 Panigale Superleggera shows nothing of the sort.
I mean it's yet another Panigale and that's about it. For such and exclusive and pricey bike, loaded with ultra-lightweight materials and pushing the constructive limits even further into the prototype zone, the jaw-dropping factor should have been massive.
It may be an insanely powerful and light bike, it may proudly display the Ducati and 1199 badges, but really, the Superleggera is just dull. Sorry, but this does not cut it. The Ducati Senna limited edition beast this new bike hands down.
The livery resembles that of the not-exactly-successful MotoGP machinery, and I'm definitely not the only one who thinks GP colors on an SBK motorcycles is as kitsch as it gets.
A bit disappointing, Ducati, seriously.
