Do You Know What a ThruxBler Looks Like?
A product designer by day and motorcycle dreamer by night, Aaron loves camping out in the wild. And since a scrambler is one of the most elegant and functional types of motorcycles for hitting the trail, it was only natural that the original "Thrux" got some "Bler" DNA.
Biltwell bras and grips came in place for better off-road handling, and Triumph billet adjustable levers replaced the stock ones. Aaron designed his own custom pegs for off-the-road riding,a nd had them CNC machined at K&L Cycle, added a golden DID chain to match the soft brown color of the bike and installed a skid plate. All the body parts were powder coated, including frame, fender and a brass the gas cap was installed.
The fuel injection system was tossed and Aaron went for the traditional carbs with British Custom's air box removal kit. Progressive springs were installed for better suspension, and the catalytic converted was also ditched, in favor of a more straightforward 2-into-1 Arrow silencer.
Spiegler brake lines and bar-end mirrors were installed and the ThruxBler was ready to ride. With Kenda 65H tires, this machine can go on and off the road with ease and look awesome in both the urban and the wild scenery. Seen on Bonnefication.
