How about mixing the classic looks of the beloved Triumph Scrambler with the dark, menacing attire of a bike that's created to inspire fear and command adoration at the same time? Seems like a pretty hard job, doesn't it? Well, it may be difficult, but not if you're asking for the help of the guys at the British American Motors (BAM).
Their latest iteration of the iconic British bike shows a stunning flat black livery which is both awe-inspiring and a little bit frightening, at the same time. Developed from a 2013 off-the-mill Scrambler, the new Triumph retains part of its character, while bringing a sober, somewhat dangerous and mysterious, air about the bike.
What's truly great is that the design of the Scrambler changed only a bit, and it's the subtle details which make this build stand form the crowd. Tossing the airbox and replacing it with K&N oval open filters lightened the mid-rear area of the bike and enhances the massive new Arrow 2-into-1 exhaust.
The custom seat adds more fluid lines to the Scrambler, but it also keeps true to the overall retro spirit. A high-performance petal rotor came in place of the OEM one, and Pirelli knobbies were installed on the powder coated rims for true dual-sport grip. An Iron Cobra lay down battery tray was also fitted, and the whole machine was balanced on custom Progressive Suspension gear.
