Bosch today announced the launch of a mobile satnav app for Apple users in the UK. We are talking about Bosch Navigation 1.5, which is already available to download from the App Store.
The app comes with key features such as Intermediate Destinations’, which offers a quick detour route without affecting the original destination, a “Plus Routes” tool, which offers real time suggestions of alternative routes that might bring time of distance savings.
Bosch’s satnav app relies on a unique 3D artMap that mixes 3D landmarks, city models and landscapes. It also comes with a “Driver Assistance” feature the asses the difficulty of the bends ahead and suggests an optimum speed, in order to increase road safety.
The list of tech goodies also includes Facebook and Twitter integrations, which allows you to share your travel experiences with your friends.
