Yep, Chinese-owned Benelli is back with yet another interesting motorcycle for 2017. It’s called the TRK 502 Twin Adventure and is heading down to be fully unveiled at EICMA in Milan, Italy, next week.
The 500 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engined adventure bike from Benelli is built around a trellis frame and features four valves per cylinder, electronic fuel injection, and a six-speed gearbox.
The engine is said to develop 46 hp while the suspension features an upside down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Wheels measure 17-inches front and back as standard, and word is there will be a more off-road-inclined version that will come with 19-inch ones, probably wired too.
Benelli also claims “the TRK 502 offers maximum comfort in all aspects, thanks to a large front fairing and slender, dynamic hand guards, able to protect the rider in any environment.”
The bike comes with a generous 20-liter fuel tank and, according to these first photos, it will be available in three colors - white, gray and red. A complete set of cases will be offered as optionals or standard on higher trim models, and since the exhaust is placed under the engine, they won’t stick out that much.
That’s about all we can tell about this bike for now, but stay tuned next week when it will be fully revealed in Italy.
