Devoted to retro style to the core, Aterliers Ruby are offering a special edition run of anniversary helmets to celebrate 90 years of BMW Motorrad.
Ruby's Munich 90 collection comprises all three helmets styles: Castel, Pavillon and Belvedere. Castel is the full-face lid, Pavillon is a classic three-quarter helmets, while the Belvedere adds a generous face shield to the open-face design.
Color schemes hark back to the helmets of the 60's and 70's, with pinstripes and impeccable high-gloss graphics. Of course, a helmet in BMW racing colors was only natural, and I'd say it is the best-looking of them all.
All helmets in this limited run are hand numbered, as Ruby is keen to retain the special edition character. However, as nobody expects cheap products from the Ateliers Ruby, these sweet lids with jewel-like shine come with hefty prices.
The Pavillon is €700 ($964), Belvedere €850 ($1,171), while Castel is €1,080 ($1,489). All three come with carbon fiber shells, nappa lamb leather interior, Ruby protective boxes included.
