You've probably heard all about the 3-wheeled large scoters every other company seems to be keen on making. There's a Piaggio MP3 on just about every street corner in Italy during the summer. If you think its commonness makes it undesirable, why not get a scooter with four wheels instead.
Quadro Vehicles put on quite the show at the EICMA show and they received a lot of attention. Their crazy creations were put through their paces, pulling extreme leans and even being taken though an offroad course. We've literally never seen such leaning done at slow speeds with extreme ease.

The fresh-looking Quadro4, which is to be considered the first four-wheel scooter in the wold, looks tough and practical in person. Huge clearings between the tilting front wheels and the beak mean you're unlikely to come to an obstacle you can't cross.

All Quadro4s come with dual HTS (Hydraulic Tilting System), as the Swiss company calls them. It's an oleo-pneumatic tilting system that ensures extra grip is found from four tires instead of just two. The system can prove useful in one of two ways. Experienced rides may rely on the Quadro4 to stay on their saddle longer into the winter, while less experienced ones can rely on the added safety characteristics.

The power for one of these toys comes from a 346cc engine pushing 30 hp (22.1 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 24.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. This is connected to an automatic integrated differential and dual drive timing belt. However, because of the heavy tubular steel frame and the added suspension bits, the Quadro 4 weighs a very hefty 257 kilograms dry.

Besides the 4-wheeled scooter, Quadro also makes two other 3-wheelers. There's the Quadro S with the same 346cc engine and 27 horsepower (19.8 kW), or the slightly more basic Quadro 350D with a 313cc unit making 23 horsepower (17 kW).
