Just as we expected, it was just a mater of hours until Yamaha surfaced the official pictures of their MotoGP riders and their mean machines.
We can't exactly tell why has Yamaha chosen to be the last team to unveil their new bikes and liveries, but we can only guess that they wanted to associate their release with the last official pre-season event: the Jerez tests.
While we were expecting Jorge Lorenzo to have number 1 on his bike, it looks like the Spaniard things it is of ill fate... so we went for the 99 badge. As for Valentino Rossi, his neon yellow 46 shines neatly on the front end of the bike and looks very good with the blue and white color scheme of the 2013 YZR-M1.
The tests at Jerez are starting at the moment of writing, and we'll be back with news soon.
