Chevrolet has released the first teaser photo of the 2014 Camaro SS, ahead of the car's debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show scheduled later this month.
As seen in the picture above, the refreshed fifth-generation Camaro will sport a slightly restyled and thinner front grille, emphasized by an upper-mounted chrome trim. That's about all we can be sure of from this first official teaser, but it's enough to make us even more curious. We'll have to keep our shirts on for a little longer though...
"The 2014 model represents the most significant change for the fifth-generation Camaro, which has been the most popular sports car in America for three consecutive years. The new Camaro will be joined by the all-new Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet SS performance sedan, completing the line of new performance vehicles Chevrolet will offer for 2014," Chevy said in their press release.
Along the 2014 Camaro SS, Chevy will also debut the high-performance rear-wheel-drive SS sedan (unveiled in Daytona last month) and the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, the latter being showed in the US for the first time after its world debut in Geneva.
The 2013 New York International Auto Show will take place from March 29 through April 7.
