VOLVO C70 2005 - Present

The 2006 version of Volvo C70 is actually the second generation of the model and is based on the Volvo P1 platform just like the 2003 Ford Focus C-Max, the 2004 Mazda 3 and the 2004 Volvo S40. The vehicle was launched on April 13, 2006 and was designed by John Kinsey. What's interesting is that this 2-door coupe convertible can raise the hardtop in no less than 30 seconds. Since it's a Volvo, it comes with advanced safety features such as side protection and a brand new roll over protection technology mounted behind the back seats. Obviously, such safety features brought Volvo C70 the “Top Safety Pick” belonging to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
