French driver Jean Philippe Dayraut finished 3rd at Pikes Peak this weekend in a race where everyone looked at what Sebastien Loeb managed to achieve, destroying the times recorded previously and starting he's own 8 minute club.
The 900 HP MINI that looks like a Paceman finished in 9:42.740, behind Rhys Millen and Sebastien Loeb, of course. On fourth, came Paul Dallenbach aboard his Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

The event was extremely entertaining, especially since multiple records were broken. It might seem like the MINI finished way back behind Loeb but look at it this way: together with Millen and Sebastien, Jean-Philippe also managed to break last year's record.

Monster Tajima, a well known figure at Pikes Peak managed to recover after last year's DNF and won the Electric Auto division with a time of 9:46.530.
