As with the awesome new Lexus IS sport sedan launched recently, everybody was wondering if it will get high performance F version, like the outgoing model had.
Well, Lexus thought that a coupe version will be better so the automaker is currently working on the RC F model, which technically speaking is a IS coupe.
On the other hand, the old IS F will not be killed for now, as the automaker decided to upgrade it a bit and send it back on sale in October. Changes include a new carbon fiber rear spoiler, LED fog lamps, Alcantara trimmed door panels, center console and seat trims as well as “F” logo embossed headrests and other minor tweaks. The 416 hp engine an mechanical part will remain exactly the same.
These updates won’t come for nothing, as the price will be $1,600 bigger, reaching $63,350 without destination charges.
