You can search the interior for revised bits and pieces all you want, just let us know when you're done. There’s only one thing you need to know: it doesn’t matter if you’re being meticulous, you won’t find differences to the old model simply because... there aren’t any.

Once you open the non-scissor door, you notice that the aggressive styling language of the exterior is also used for the cabin. There are strong edges everywhere. From the door panels to the dashboard and even the seats, the lines don’t flow into each other, they clash when they meet and all the impacts create the impression of force.

This is just one of the spices that can be found inside this V10 Lamborghini. If you're a fan of all things technical you'll appreciate the three instruments placed at the center of the dash. You could easily live without the info they display, but we have to admit that "batteria" sounds surprisingly sexy.

Speaking of the upper part of the dash, this has an unusual depth, you feel that there's a whole universe between you and the windshield. While the feature does give the interior a sense of occasion, it makes you frown each time you have to maneuver the car in a tight space.

Apart from the limitations brought by the aforementioned aspect, the front and side visibility is good. Turn your head and you'll conclude that the rear visibility is "not okay". And yes, it may be better than what you get in the Gallardo Spyder, but here you can no longer lower the rear window and allow the V10 to invade the cabin.

As you zoom in on the various details of the dashboard, you can easily spot some outdated hardware. For example, the Audi-borrowed controls for the air conditioning whisper "I was born one generation ago".

We install ourselves into the seats and find that while they are a tad on the firm side, you can leave with them. The back is the one that has a bit of complaining to do, not the tooshie.

As for the rest of your body, the upper part will be happy to learn that the narrow center console works well as an armrest for both passengers. However, your left leg can become a bit sore after a few hours of driving, due to the intrusion of the wheel housing. You are thus forced to keep your leg angled towards the center of the car.

The passenger is also affected by the mediocre interior space, as she probably won't be able to fully stretch her legs.

When it comes to stowage compartments, the Lamborghini Gallardo only offers a few of this valuable gems on top of its 3.88 cu.ft. (110 L) boot. Just make sure not to bump your head into what can only be described as the hook mechanism of the boot lid. There's a decently-sized area behind the seats, as well as two tiny compartments, one placed on right side of the dashboard and the second integrated into the rear area of the center console.

Unfortunately, during our drive we found the cupholders as extremely uncomfortable. The Lamborghini Gallardo doesn't come with such a thing, so we had to hold the drinks between our legs. We can still remember the burning sensation...

The cabin of the Lamborghini Gallardo is quite exotic, it can grab your attention, but you will have to drop the word "comfort" from your vocabulary when you're in here.
