June 2014 brings a nifty new DVD from Touratech, the ZimZamBot movie. If you know one or two things about Africa, I expect that you’ve already figured out that this new adventure movie takes place in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana, so we’re dealing with quite various terrain and a great riding experience.
ZimZamBot is another project from Touratech founder Herbert Schwarz and his wife Ramona. They enjoy riding their bikes to far-off countries and carry cameras to record their journeys, with the edited material being then transformed in cool documentaries just like the upcoming one.

More than showing to other riders and adventure enthusiasts how life in remote parts of the world is, the Touratech founder is testing his own products in real-life situations, finds defect and way to improve the brand’s products and gathers ideas for new ones. So we can say that such trips also have a very lucrative, development purpose, one of the factors which help Touratech deliver excellent quality-products, created and tested in real-life scenarios, by actual riders, for actual riders.

Enjoy the trailer for the ZimZamBot movie and watch Touratech’s web store in June for the release of the DVD. Until then however, there’s plenty of time for planning and riding, and adding some upgrades to your two-wheelers might be a great idea.
