Japanese aftermarket sportbike exhaust producer Yoshimura is introducing the dual RS-3C exhaust systems for the KTM 990 Super Duke motorcycle. The new dual RS-3C builds upon the popular RS-3 shape, but with carbon fiber cone end caps that give the Super Duke a few notches in the looks section.
The RS-3C comes in two set ups, both featuring a stainless steel Y pipe and carbon fiber end caps. Customers may choose between carbon fiber or titanium sleeve options. And the RS-3C does more than just look great. Moreover, it also reportedly performs well, boosting horsepower.
The KTM 990 Super Duke features a two-cylinder, 4-stroke, 999cc engine, developing a maximum of 120 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and reaching a top speed of 236 km/h (146 mph).
The two-in-one exhaust header, plus the under-the-seat silencers of brushed stainless steel with a three-way catalytic converter help ensure excellent performance and a sporty sound.
The Brembo single-piston, floating brake caliper with a 240 mm brake disc at the rear, plus a 320 mm double disc up front featuring a 4-piston fixed-caliper and four individual pads per side are combined with radial hand-brake armature.
The motorcycle made its racing debut in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class in July, when it finished 28th of 44.
