Yokohama Introduces New Advan Sizes

Yokohama Tire Corporation has introduced six sizes to its ultra high-performance (UHP) ADVAN line: three for each of the Neova AD08 and S.4.

The latest AD08 sizes are 245/40R19 94W, 265/35R19 94W and 275/35R19 96W. The new S.4 sizes are 255/50R19 107W, 275/45R19 108W and 275/40R20 106W.

With the new sizes, the AD08, which is one of the “fastest’ street tires in the world, is now offered in 35 sizes ranging from 15 to 19 inches and can be fitted to a wide variety of premium sports cars and sedans, including vehicles from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus and other brands.

The 245/40R19 94W will fit the Nissan 370Z (front); the 265/35R19 94W is for the Porsche Boxster/Cayman (rear) and BMW M3 (rear); and the 275/35R19 96W is for the Nissan 370 (rear).

“The Neova AD08 is the fastest, best-handling UHP tire on the market,” said Mark Chung, Yokohama director, corporate strategy and planning. “It’s the best of the best and definitely lives up to the ADVAN legacy.”

The executive explained that the S.4 offers all-season W- and Y- speed rating performance and can be used as a replacement tire for premium sedans and coupes that need all-year wet and dry performance. The latest S.4 sizes will fit the Mercedes-Benz ML/RL, Acura MDX/ZDX, Land Rover Range Rover (255/50R19 107W); Acura MDX, Volkswagen Touareg and Porsche Cayenne (275/45R19 108W); and Volkswagen Touareg, Porsche Cayenne and Land Rover Range Rover (275/40R20 106W).
