World’s Most Expensive Chopper Comes with a Free Yacht

Though some of you may consider it a bit frustrating, the whopping price tag of $22.7 million (£14.2 million) set by German custom bike builders House of Thunder for what they claim is the world’s most expensive chopper also includes a 45-meter luxury transoceanic yacht.

The Germans worked on building the yacht with a rear garage that houses a rescue boat, two jet skis and a custom Harley-Davidson, built and painted to match the boat’s livery, with Turkey-based Yacht manufacturer Sunrise Yachts, founded by German Harley-Davidson and custom bike enthusiast Herbert Baum.

The luxury chopper is based on a stock Harley Rocker with a cleaned-up frame, hand-fashioned fenders and fuel tank, which also features a foldable handlebar allowing the bike to be lifted in and out of ‘parking position’ in the small garage at the rear of the boat.

“We still will build our normal custom bikes for our customers, but this is a completely new market and we always welcome new impulses for markets yet unexplored,” Eric Vauth of House of Thunder was quoted as saying bornrich.org.

Unfortunately, these were the only details revealed by the makers of the chopper and the yacht, though we would have liked to hear some more about the idea, manufacturing process, and technical details. However, as soon as further details will surface, be sure we’ll keep you posted.
