Talk about a coincidence... A 30 year old woman crashed her BMW E93 3 Series Convertible into a Fatburger diner last night, injuring 4 policemen that were simply taking a break from their exhausting job.
If someone told you to guess in which country this happened, you'd probably say the USA, right? Well, guess again, as this thing happened in the more relaxed Canada, more exactly Vancouver, a city very well known for its extremely polite inhabitants.
According to Canada's National Post, the injuries were not life threatening and that the Police suspects that she was either texting or if she had a medical condition that triggered this accident.
“It’s something you don’t expect, working your shift. You think the dangerous parts are over when you are sitting in a restaurant having dinner. Unfortunately these things happen. We’re hoping for a speedy recovery for our officers,” Police spokesman Constable Brian Montague said.
On the upside, the Bimmer doesn't look as bad as one would expect and the safety features kept the woman safe and sound, coming out of the vehicle without any injuries. Hopefully all the people involved learned a valuable lesson from this experience.
