Really bad news came in this weekend from the Nurburgring, unfortunately concerning BMW's most advanced M5 to date. It seems like one of their famous Ring Taxis crashed on the Nordschleife portion of the famous track.
At the moment we have no info about the occupants of the car but considering how the car looks like, we think there were no victims or seriously hurt people, as the safety features seem to have deployed as they were supposed to.
Judging by the photos taken on the spot, it looks like the car was a bit wet and this wouldn't be the first time a BMW Ring Taxi crashes on the Green Hell, especially in the first left-hander after the Karussell, an area known for its dangerous layout, since cars usually clock around 180 km/h (113 mph) in that area.
