The Fast & Furious franchise burst onto the scene almost 20 years ago and completely changed the automotive landscape. Suddenly, kids from all over the world wanted to grow up doing street racing in Toyota Supras.
But did you ever consider what would happen if the movie franchise had any serious interest in European cars? Sure, you've got Jesse's Jetta, but that loses... badly. Also, that scene where they smoke a Ferrari proves cars from the old continent are meant to be portrayed as pretentious and overpriced.

An old Mercedes-Benz is the last you'd use to prove the Europeans made affordable and down-to-earth vehicles. But we stumbled upon this rendering from Basil Designs and think it's the closest thing to car humor we've seen in a while.

This has a Supra in it, yes. But like most car renderers, Basil thought a stock body looked a little wimpy and just installed his digital fender flairs. If the original movie was shot today, they'd probably use some kind of Pandem body kit too.

With a giant wing and scoops everywhere, this Supra is definitely trying too hard. But Brian's cars are all kind of over-tuned, so it's okay.

But what's that other car? Well, it's supposed to be a muscle car for Dom. The giant stack coming though the hood is in line with Toretto's passion for supercharged V8 performance, but everything else is different.

That's because the artist decided to make a low-riding muscle car out of the C123 Mercedes. It's a little strange because even though Mercedes made many powerful V8 engines, the C123 is most often found powered by a diesel engine. It's the kind of old car people try to run on vegetable oil.

You got your 3-liter naturally aspirated diesel making about 80 horsepower in the 300CD, getting you to 60 in over 10 seconds. But at least you're doing your part for the environment, right? The body is practically worthless, which is probably why nobody wants to put in a $10,000 LS swap.
