Why the Ferrari Gave the FF Four-Wheel Drive

The Ferrari FF replaced the aging 612 Scaglietti, a long and sleek classic-looking car which is nothing like the car it was replaced by. However, while styling may have been on its side (we say), the FF does win back some usability points thanks to its ingenious and light four-wheel drive system.
Illustrating the point is this Londoner in his lovely Scaglietti, spinning his wheels but creating no forward motion. Luckily for him though, a few passers-by among which Youtube user Sug-Sean Webster gave him a push and he was on his way.

However, if the driver had been behind the wheel of the new FF, he would have had no problems, as we ourselves were very impressed by the FF’s abilities on low-grip surfaces. Also, the driver of the 612 was quite lucky to have been in London, as most (envious) people in other countries would have stared and laughed.
